Qualifications and requirements:

• Minimum Education: High School diploma required.
• Associate's degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or related field preferred.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Assists in the day-to-day operations of the Adult Inpatient Unit/CTF (Transitions Unit)
• Maintain and promote effective communication between the unit and other departments.
• Document clinical services. Exhibits teamwork in providing services.
• Demonstrates professional accountability.
• Implement measures that safeguard the welfare, care, health, and safety of the unit, including patients, families, and coworkers.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population, culture, and specific needs of the patients served. Nonessential Functions: Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
