How you'll contribute

A Case Manager who excels in this role:

• Tasks or functions that are fundamental to the position include:

• Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and use of therapeutic communication skills including empathy, reflection, and clarification.

• Empower Consumers with severe mental illness to manage their illness, find their own goals for recovery, and make informed decisions about their treatment.

• Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to build a network of formal and informal supports for the client and family.

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding recovery's core elements, change process, social, and role functioning.

• Use timely documentation to describe progress toward objectives, barriers to change, and identify new objectives as recovery progresses.

• Demonstrate the ability to set clear objectives, goals, and expectations and follow through with them effectively.

• Model healthy coping skills effectively uses stress-vulnerability reduction strategies.

• Demonstrate effective use of motivational, educational, and cognitive-behavioral interventions.

• Use clinical consultation and/or supervision when appropriate.

• Exemplify collaboration in behavior and communication.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree - Required

• Masters in Social/Behavioral Sciences - preferred

• 1+ year of experience

• BCLS upon completion of hospital orientation

• Must apply for a Washington State Agency Affiliate Counselor Registration within 30 days of hire date or have a current recognized behavioral health professional license in good standing with the State of Washington.
• Must have/obtain a current Washington State Driver's License with dependable transportation. Must have current/valid Liability Insurance to use personal vehicle and/or LH Company vehicles for LH business purposes.
