Position Summary:
Maintains the medical records filing and distribution process in compliance with regulatory guidelines and requirements. Flexibility to changing environment and assists in development of new processes as appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED, Preferred
One year experience in Health Information Management, Preferred
Must be 18 years or older
Strong office / clerical skills required.
Working knowledge and experience with phone systems, computer, microfiche/film readers, shredders, fax machines, scanners, copy equipment and general office equipment.
Ability to file in alphabetiocal, terminal digit, date order as needed
Strong organizational skills and able to multitask
Experience with medical terminology, Preferred
