Description:
As supervised and delegated ty a RN, provides direct patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
Contributes to the assessment of patients by collecting data for analysis by the RN.
Performs plan of care interventions, including specimen collection and wound care. May administer medication and documents patient care given.
Qualifications:
PRN, work as needed. Current TN LPN licensure. Practical Nursing Diploma required. Six months to one year experience as LPN in medical/surgical unit. BLS required upon hire or must obtain within 90 days of employment. ACLS/PALS required within 12 months of employment.
