Qualifications and requirements:

• Minimum Education High School diploma required.
• Associates Degree in social work, psychology, sociology or related field preferred.
• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
• Assists in the day-to-day operations of the Adult Inpatient Unit/CTF (Transitions Unit)
• Maintain and promote effective communication between unit and other departments.
• Document clinical services. Exhibits teamwork in providing services.
• Demonstrates professional accountability.
• Implement measures that safeguard the welfare, care, health, and safety of the unit including patients, families and coworkers.
• Demonstrate basic knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the population, culture, and specific needs of the patients served. Nonessential Functions Perform other duties as assigned by Department Manager.
