Patients admitted to the WellBridge Fort Worth Inpatient Mental Health program receive 24-hour supervised psychiatric treatment and crisis support for mental health issues. Emphasis is on identifying safety risks and needs, stabilizing crisis symptoms, increasing mental health knowledge, aiding the development of symptom management skills, and establishing connections with aftercare services to support stability and ongoing treatment.

WellBridge Fort Worth is a 48-bed inpatient psychiatric hospital providing full-service inpatient and outpatient treatment.

Job Summary

The Food and Nutritional Services Worker assists in food preparation, meal service, and kitchen sanitation to ensure high-quality nutritional care for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to dietary guidelines and menu plans.

• Ensure food is stored, handled, and prepared following safety and sanitation regulations.

• Clean and sanitize food service areas, utensils, equipment, and kitchen spaces.

• Restock supplies and maintain inventory in a clean, orderly manner.

• Follow special dietary restrictions and requests as instructed.

• Assist with delivery of food trays to patients when necessary.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Prior experience in food service, preferably in a healthcare setting, preferred.

• Knowledge of food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.

• Ability to read and follow diet orders, portion sizes, and recipes.

• Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.
