Job Summary
The Food and Nutritional Services Worker assists in food preparation, service, and sanitation to ensure safe, high-quality meals for patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities
• Assist with preparing meals and snacks according to planned menus and diet orders.
• Serve meals in a courteous and timely manner.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, equipment, dishes, and utensils.
• Restock supplies and maintain food service areas in accordance with safety standards.
• Follow infection control and food safety guidelines.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous food service or dietary experience preferred, healthcare setting ideal.
• Knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow directions.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.
