How you'll contribute
A Pharmacy Technician who excels in this role:
Fills orders with correct medications.
Delivers medications to patient care areas and automated dispensing machines accurately and timely.
Procures pharmaceutical and related supplies per contractual terms.
Maintains appropriate pharmacy inventory levels
Prepares pharmaceutical preparations including unit-dosing medication and properly labeling any dispensed medications.
Processes records of medication and equipment dispensed to patient, computes charges, and enters data in computer.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a high school degree or equivalent and a current pharmacy technician certification. Additional requirements include:
The ability to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with medical and administrative staff, patients, and families
Basic understanding of the role and use of a computer in the processing of prescription orders with word processing skills
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
