How you'll contribute

The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services that support patients in developing, restoring, and maintaining physical function and mobility. The PTA implements treatment plans using appropriate therapeutic modalities, monitors patient responses, and communicates progress and potential goal modifications to the supervising therapist. Responsibilities include documenting care, educating patients and caregivers about functional deficits, and assisting with discharge planning, including guidance on adaptive equipment and community resources. The PTA ensures high-quality care while promoting patient engagement and recovery.

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Associate's degree Required; Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required

  • Physical Therapy Assistant in the State

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
