Position Summary:
The RN Quality Coordinator - Data Abstractor will be responsible for data abstraction for Inpatient/Outpatient quality performance measures, conducting medical record reviews, gathering data from a variety of sources and chart reviews, data retrieval, data entry, data presentation/formatting, and general support for the Hospital's Quality Standards program. Serve as a resource for reports and participates in the collection, compilation, analysis and presentation of data for the Quality Department.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent of 5 yrs LPN experience.
Arizona or Compact State RN or LPN licensure required up hire.
Bachelor's Degree in nursing, Healthcare or related field but will consider other medical science degrees with experience.
Minimum of 3 years experience in an Acute Care Facility.
Work requires a professional level of knowledge of the clinical record or clinical competencies in Clinical Nursing.
