JOB SUMMARY
Examines patients with breathing-related conditions and conducts diagnostic testing. Consults with physicians to develop and implement a treatment plan for the patient. Performs physiotherapy and other treatments and teaches patients to use medications.
Qualifications:
Two years of college, or technical school, or successful completion of AARC approved Certification Program Required
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire or transferring to position.
Preferred to include ACLS, PALS, and NRP training and certification.
Licenses:
State of Tennessee RRT or CRT (ABG endorsed)
