Position Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) is to provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for patients with variety of mental and behavioral disorders. The successful candidate will effectively work with clients, their families and care teams, in order to establish and achieve treatment plan goals. The LCSW is a core member of the CPG Advanced Pain & Spine Institute (APSI). CPG APSI is a multidisciplinary outpatient treatment center for adults (18+) who suffer from chronic pain. We provide our patients with skills that they can continue to use and develop through our program and at home. The successful candidate will effectively work with clients, their families, and care teams, to establish and achieve treatment plan goals. This position is a core member of the collaborative care team which includes the patient's medical providers, pain psychologist and PTs/OTs/SLP as well as the larger medical care team.
The position is responsible for participating in:
- Identification and intervention for at-risk patients through screening for depression, anxiety, substance use and suicide risk
- diagnosis and treatment planning
- providing direct psychotherapy services to patients
- providing proactive follow-up to treatment response
- assist with linkage to community resources
- document all patient interactions in EHR
- Support other CPG clinics as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters in Social Work required, or related field. Must be clinically licensed by the Montana Board of Behavioral Health (LCSW).
- Will consider Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
- One (1) year experience in a clinical setting performing clinical social work. Must work effectively with our multidisciplinary team.
- Prefer three (3) years of clinical social work or counseling in a medical/clinical setting. Experience working with patients experiencing chronic pain.
