Position Summary
Responsible for assisting with nursing care for the patient before, during, and after cardiovascular surgery. Knowledge of OR roles and responsibilities, and knowledge of all cardiovascular surgery procedures and set-ups.

Qualifications and requirement
• Requires a high school diploma, plus less than one year specialty training.
• Requires one to three years of work experience.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
