Description:
Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.
Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth

American Heart Association or American Red Cross Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.

License: Registered and in good standing with ARRT in Rad and/or credentialed through ARDMS or registry eligible

Six months experience routinely performing a wide array of ultrasound procedures (including vascular imaging, XRay Experience preferred), and/or a minimum of three years on-the-job training
