This is a Hybrid position reporting to our Brentwood, TN office requiring 50 % travel to varies hospitals 

What you’ll do:

The Director, Construction Project Management is responsible for facilitating the budgeting, planning/design, and construction of capital construction projects that have budgets more than $500,000 in total cost. Responsible for program management of Company capital projects and coordination of the project team (Facility, Legal, Materials Management, IT & S, architects, contractors & consultants) to ensure project compliance within the approved budget, scope of work, and applicable codes.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Capital Construction project budget and cost control.
  • Communicate with Group Leaders, and other internal departments, information relative to construction for Certificate of Need requirements, project needs, and basic program for budgeting and submission to leadership team for approvals.
  • Oversee project programming and design development of facilities.
  • Coordinate state and local authorities having jurisdiction over construction for design reviews and necessary approvals.
  • Manage Design / construction team’s activities including, but not limited to, vendor relationships, requests for proposals (RFP), inspections, etc.
  • Ensure the project is compliant with approved funding, scope and code requirements while not negatively impacting hospital operations.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need:

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experience: Minimum 7 years of Healthcare construction project management experience required HCAi/OSHPD experience preferred
