POSITION SUMMARY:
The Specialist, Human Resources Shared Services (HRSS) is responsible for providing comprehensive HR support for designated LifePoint Hospitals. Specialists will serve both our internal and external partners through a variety of channels including phone, Service Now (Web ticket systems), and email. In this role, the specialist will work all case requests to completion, and with the satisfaction of the requesting party. Must perform with service in mind as well as professionalism, accuracy, efficiency.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Receive and respond timely to all HR Service inquiries and requests with timely, accurate and professional responses.
- Process employee onboarding, offboarding, leave of absence, employee life cycle transactions and/or payroll/timekeeping.
- Follow set standard operating procedures (SOP) when completing tickets submitted via the ticket management system.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: < 1 year of experience
