 What you’ll do:

The Senior Workforce Absence Management Analyst plays a vital role in analyzing absence management data, ensuring compliance, and accurately recording and managing employee time and attendance data within the organization. This position requires a strong understanding of timekeeping processes, absence management processes, UKG application modules, and healthcare labor analytics. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to support the implementation and optimization of the Workforce Management (WFM) absence management processes. The position will play a crucial role in defining and implementing the organization's labor analytics strategy, and providing guidance and support to employees and managers regarding absence-related matters, including leave entitlements, documentation requirements, and return-to-work processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement absence management strategies in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Generate reports to track leave-related data and trends for management and compliance purpose.
  • Track and analyze absence data to identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern, and provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify key reporting requirements that support decision-making for clinical frontline managers and employees
  • Translate labor analytics into a clear directional path for achieving targets set by leadership
  • Regularly communicate and provide updates to stakeholders regarding changes, enhancements, and performance of the absence management system within the ERP environment.
  • Stay updated on regulations related to absence management and ensuring compliance.
  • Participate in training programs and stay updated on timekeeping software and tools.

 


What you’ll need:

EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working with finance or business intelligence teams to define and implement metrics and reporting requirement
  • Proven experience in absence management, leave administration, or a related HR function.
  • Familiarity with absence tracking systems related to absence tracking functions.
  • Knowledge of labor laws, including FMLA, ADA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Experience in UKG application modules.
  • Prior experience in timekeeping or data analytics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping software or systems is a plus.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Relevant certifications in UKG application modules or healthcare analytics preferred.
