The VP, Enterprise Business Services Reporting, Analytics and Performance Improvement provides leadership over master data governance and maintenance. The leader will collaborate with functional leads to develop the policies and procedures that govern when and how master data elements are requested and created, in addition to establishing quality assurance programs to improve data cleanliness, accuracy, and relevancy. The role will also manage a technical team responsible for enterprise resource planning (“ERP”) support and maintenance, ensuring system-related operational processes run smoothly enabling users to conduct their business. This will require working closely with functional leaders across Finance, Human Capital Management, Supply Chain Management, Medical Staff Services, and Marketing, as well as the broader IT organization. The ERP support and maintenance team will be responsible for managing day-to-day system performance, release enhancements and upgrades, and working with end-users to troubleshoot system issues.  In addition, this role will lead service management and analytics for Enterprise Business Services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation. 

  • Provide visionary leadership and management as part of the enterprise business services organization leadership team to ensure overall performance and achievement of Lifepoint’s vision, strategy, and plan, ensuring support services are delivered with quality and relevance to the business.
  • Oversee the operations of a multidisciplinary team focused on ensuring data and technical requirements are met to facilitate smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Establish policies and procedures to guide data management and governance across functional areas.
  • Collaborate with business and functional leaders to develop and enhance centralized reporting and analytic capabilities.
  • Anticipate key trends, opportunities, and vulnerabilities, and position support to ensure that infrastructure and systems are stable and support the demands of current programs and future growth.
  • Contribute to overall strategy, leadership, values, culture, and decision-making through active membership on the Business enterprise services Governance Committee.
  • Support the Executive Steering Committee and other fellow executives and senior leaders with insightful input in key organizational decisions.
  • Foster a service mindset and ensure cooperation and engagement with other strategic divisions across the organization to ensure a unified strategy across all aspects of operations.
  • Employ an effective, diplomatic, and influential communication style that promotes buy-in and support and leads to the successful implementation of change initiatives and operational improvements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
Master's degree in business administration or related field preferred

EXPERIENCE:
Ten (10) years of progressive experience in a focused leadership role
Experience in managing technical releases, upgrades, and enhancements; leading an IT support model; process improvement methodologies and automation
Healthcare experience preferred

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:
N/A 

Overnight travel (over 25%) by land and/or air.
