POSITION SUMMARY:

The Workforce Analyst plays a vital role in accurately recording and managing employee time and attendance data within the organization. This role requires a strong understanding of timekeeping processes, UKG application modules, and healthcare labor analytics. The position will play a crucial role in defining and implementing the organization's labor analytics strategy, collaborating with business leaders, and translating labor analytics into actionable insights. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize timekeeping processes and support operational efficiency.

Essential Functions:

  • Define and implement the healthcare labor analytics strategy for the organization.
  • Collaborate with finance or the business intelligence team to understand and define the use of units of measure for driving and supporting operations.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to optimize timekeeping processes and support operational efficiency.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify key reporting requirements that support decision-making for clinical frontline managers and employees.
  • Define and standardize key metrics/KPIs across facilities, ensuring consistent and comparable data trends.
  • Understand budgeted, planned, forecasted, and actual hours, providing insights for operational efficiency.
  • Translate labor analytics into a clear directional path for achieving targets set by leadership.
  • Stay updated on relevant labor laws and regulations related to timekeeping and ensure compliance.
  • Participate in training programs and stay updated on timekeeping software and tools.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Regular and reliable attendance.

Moderate overnight travel (up to 25%) by land and/or air.   


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: 

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.

EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 4-5 years of (healthcare, business analytics, statistics, technology) experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of related experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working with finance or business intelligence teams to define and implement metrics and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes related to operational efficiency.
  • Proven ability to translate labor analytics into actionable insights and recommendations for process improvement.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes related to labor hours.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data.
  • Prior experience in timekeeping or data analytics is preferred.
  • Familiarity with timekeeping software or systems is a plus.
  • Extensive experience and success with one or more UKG application modules

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:

  • Relevant certifications in UKG application modules or healthcare analytics preferred.
