Secretary/Receptionist - Patient Education - PRN
Clyde, North Carolina
Acts as the liaison between the hospital and schools.
Answers any telephone calls and escalates as necessary.
Assists with the onboarding of students.
Assists with the scheduling of American Heart Association classes and coordinating instructors for each class.
Coordinates all in-hospital educational activities.
Orders office and clinical supplies as needed.
Takes meeting minutes and performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
High School diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of 1 year experience in clerical position is preferred.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Requires strong interpersonal skills, time management and the ability to meet deadlines.
Proficiency with word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, and database computer applications.
