Echo Tech

Schedule: this role will work either 3, 8-hour shifts/week or 2, 12-hour shifts/week with rotating weekend call

How you'll contribute

An Echo Tech who excels in this role:

  • Performs a variety of diagnostic ultrasonographic procedures.

  • Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patients are comfortable.

  • Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities.

  • Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.

  • Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.

  • Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.

What we're looking for 

Applicants should have an associate's degree in a related field. Additional requirements include:

  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire

  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer is required from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), RDCS, AE or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
