DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Greet patient by name and escort to exam area.
  • Take vital signs and brief history and notate in patient
  • Review history and assist with exam as needed, per
  • Keep exam rooms clean, orderly and well
  • Assist with scheduling tests, procedures and referral appointments as
  • Assist with prior authorizations from insurance companies for tests and procedures as
  • Have knowledge of medical office software for scheduling appointments and
  • Other duties as necessary for clinic
  • Will be expected to cross train in other clinics and provide support if

REQUIREMENTS:               

Hold CMA or RMA certification or have 3 years previous clinical experience. Must have competent skills on computer systems. Able to flex his/ her work schedule to meet the demands of the clinic schedule. Must provide a positive image of the clinic and hospital to the community. Work is fast paced requiring ability to independently prioritize work and meet varied deadlines. Work is of medium demand requiring walking, sitting, standing, stooping and bending. Must become knowledgeable about facility policies.
