- Ability to comprehend medical terminology, hospital experience or satisfactory completion of training program preferred.
- Able to flex his/her work schedule to meet demands of the unit.
- Unit secretary is required to provide a positive image of the hospital to the community.
- Must demonstrate effective communication skills.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, lifting-maximum unassisted will be 50 lbs., stair climbing, carrying, pushing/pulling, balancing, twisting/turning, reaching, handling/manual dexterity, talking/hearing/seeing, exposures to changes in temperature or humidity, exposure to dust, chemicals, fumes, or gases.
