Physical Therapy Assistant PRN

JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy services to patients needing to
develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Implements treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities. Seeks
consultation as necessary.
Monitors patient's responses to the treatment plan. Regularly communicates patient progress and possible
goal revisions to the physical therapist.

NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Review and comply with LifePoint Code of Conduct and all relevant Company and Division policies and
procedures.

Minimum Education
Associates Degree Required
X□ Graduate of a Program in Discipline □ Preferred X□ Required
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be
able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Certifications:
X□ Basic Life Support (BLS)
Licenses: PTA Licensure with the Kentucky Board of Physical Therapy
