How you'll contribute 

A Respiratory Therapist who excels in this role:

• Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer; may perform bedside PFTs, EKGs, and tobacco-cessation education as ordered.
• Delivers ordered respiratory therapies; monitors, records, and communicates patient condition and response to treatment.
• Responds to codes and emergent calls; assesses patient condition and provides appropriate interventions.
• Evaluates and contributes to respiratory care policies and procedures based on outcomes, research, and best practices.
• Educates patients and families on illness, treatments, device use, and community resources.

What we're looking for

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required. 

• License: Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in state of practice. 

• Certifications: BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.
