Position Summary:

Provides safe, efficient and effective inter-facility transport to a wide variety of ill and injured patients representing Conemaugh Health System.  Assumes responsibility and accountability for the treatment outcome of patients of all ages including the neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric populations as defined by the paramedic scope of practice through Department of Health Guidelines.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum Education:
High school graduate or equivalent
Completion of a PA state approved Paramedic course with certificate

Required Certification:
Current Pennsylvania EMT-P certification
PALS
ACLS

Other:
Current active field experience of at least two years as a ALS Provider with active medical command status.
Current Pennsylvania driver’s license with excellent driving record and no restrictions 
EMSVO completion
