Person Memorial Hospital

Performs basic nursing skills and personal care activities for patients/residents under the direction of the Registered/Licensed Practical Nurse. Practices within the Nursing Assistant's scope and according to Person Memorial Hospital policies/procedures/standards.

Under the supervision of an RN, also performs telemetry monitoring.

Reports to: Inpatient Services Director

FLSA: Non-exempt

Grade: G07


Minimum Education:
 
High school diploma or equivalent  Required
 
Required Skills:
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
 
Certifications:
Must have Basic Life Support certification (BLS) by the completion of the clinical orientation.
 
Licenses: CNA I
