Essential Functions:

• Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
• Performs "clerical" and "transporter" responsibilities as required.
• Contributes to the efficient operation of the department.
• Monitors inventory of supplies and notifies appropriate personnel when stock is low.
• Participates in the orientation and training of new employees and health care professionals and of radiologic technology students.
• Will perform additional duties, as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• Certifications: BLS required
• Licenses: ARRT required
• Computer: Basic computer skills
• Clerical: General knowledge of clerical duties

Education:

• Associates Degree required
