Position Summary:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant on our Med/Surg Unit, you will provide patient care to include but not limited to, assistance with activities of daily living, vital signs and Accu-checks while under the supervision and direction of the nurse. This position will provide quality care to the patients of our community ranging from infancy to geriatric with a variety of general medical problems requiring hospitalization. Our Med/Surg Floor is dedicated to post-surgical patients recovering from surgeries such as appendectomy, cholecystectomy, mastectomy, TURPs, or wound debridement. You may also encounter patients with COPD, CHF, pneumonia, or arrhythmias.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Graduate of Nursing Assistant Program I
Required Certification:
Certified Nursing Assistant I
American Heart Association BLS is required
