Patient Safety Attendant, PRN

Central Carolina Hospital, along with Duke LifePoint are seeking a Patient Safety Attendant to work to float to different areas of the hospital with patients who need observation. With more than 120 physicians and more than 500 employees, the hospital offers a wide range of specialties. Central Carolina Hospital is nestled in the heart of central North Carolina and is located only 40 minutes southwest of Raleigh, the state capital, and just 40 minutes from the gates of Fort Bragg Military base.

As a Patient Safety Attendant (PSA), you will work under the supervisor of a nurse to monitor patients who are high risk. This position will work with a variety of patients from children to adults on all floors of the hospital. Patient Safety Attendants will maintain active supervision of assigned patients to minimize fall risk and self-harms to ensure safe and quality care.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is required

Required Certifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant I is preferred

American Heart Association BLS is required
