Education:  High School diploma or equivalent required.

Required Experience:  One-year experience in Health Information Department in an acute care setting preferred. Filing experience.

Skills:  Typing 50 wpm, 10-key preferred, PC experience helpful, good organizations skills, and medical terminology helpful. Ability to make independent decisions.  Good interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills

Equipment:  PCs, printers, hospital mainframe, fax, telephone, scanner, and various other office equipment.
