Scott Memorial Hospital is seeking an Echo Tech to join our team. 

Position Summary:

• Receives patients, explains method of procedure and makes sure patient is comfortable.
• Provides patient services to all ages using imaging modalities-Pediatric and infant experience is beneficial.
• Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Maintains equipment and supplies and organizes work area.
• Keeps accurate records, helps with scheduling of the ultrasound and keeps patient flow smooth.
• Assists cardiologist with interventional procedures as ordered.

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Graduate of a Program in Discipline – Required
• ARDMS RDCS or CCI RCS required within 3 years of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor’s degree – Preferred
