Functions as Nuclear Medicine Tech performing exams. Responsible for all patient care, quality control, quality assurance, Nuclear and radiation safety procedures.  Establishes and maintains documentation of these procedures.  This description of job responsibilities is intended to reflect the major responsibilities and duties of the job, but is not intended to describe minor duties or other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Associate Degree preferred.  Certificate in Nuclear Medicine required

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: One year experience preferred

LICENSURE: Indiana State Dept. of Health Operator Certificate, ARRT Registry if applicable, Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification

SKILLS:  Spect imaging, cross sectional anatomy, positioning, radiation exposure and safety.  People, manual dexterity, work with moderate supervision, concentration

EQUIPMENT: Nuclear, Teleradiology Services, Fuji printer, Meditech, PACs, PM, Portal, stretcher, wheelchair, IV pumps, oxygen, computer, CD, and any other equipment essential in performing exams.
