This position assists the director with total unit operations on a 24-hour basis to include fiscal management, staff development, and resource management with the ultimate goal of achieving quality and safe patient care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  Graduate of state approved school of nursing. 

Required Experience:  3 years RN experience including 1 year1 in management preferred.  BSN preferred.  BLS, ACLS and PALS certification required.

Licensure:  Registered nurse in the state of Indiana

Equipment:  Computer, telephone, all equipment needed to give patient care in assigned areas.

NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES SUPERVISED:  1-100

TITLES SUPERVISED:  RN, Nursing Assistant, Unit Secretary
