- The Emergency Department at Frye Regional offers:
- Board-certified emergency medicine physicians, 32 patient rooms and 3 nurses' stations
- Behavioral health treatment and referral, including suicide threat and alcohol detox
- High quality standards for treatment of chest pain and stroke
- Sexual assault nurse examiners specially trained to provide compassionate care and collect forensic evidence
- Treatment of major and minor injuries and illnesses
- A helipad for patients with the most serious medical conditions to be airlifted directly to and from Frye Regional's Emergency Department
How you'll contribute
A Certified Nursing Assistant I (CNA I), who excels in this role:
- Monitor vital signs/blood sugars
- Assists patients with activities of daily living; Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition
- Measure and document input/output and weights
- Assist nurse as needed
- Answer call lights
- Assist with patient admission, transfer and discharge
- Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient
- Distribute drinks and/or snacks
- Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.
- All other duties as assigned

What we're looking for- a compassionate nursing assistant with a understanding of critical care principles and advanced patient monitoring.
Applicants should have a current state NA I license and completed NA course from an accredited school. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- One year of experience preferred
