How you'll contribute
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) who excels in this role:
Provides inpatient, outpatient and long-term care services
Performs patient assessment.
Establish a plan of care.
Provides care in accordance with physician's orders and established care plan.
Assesses the effectiveness of treatment and modifies treatment to achieve goals.
Plans for discharge of patients.
Communicate with patients, family, caregivers, significant other, and members of the healthcare team to achieve rehabilitation goals and promote maximum benefits of care.
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Demonstrates proficiency in verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively and professionally with individuals at all levels; both internal and external

What we're looking for
Applicants should have successful completion of Speech Language Pathology program and hold a current Speech Therapy license in the state of Michigan. Additional requirements include:
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required (Available Upon Hire)
Annual Influenza Vaccination or Declination Required
Speech Therapy License in the state of Michigan
