University of Louisville Health Frazier Rehab Hospital-Brownsboro is a state-of-the-art, 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness. Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment to patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, individualized rehabilitation tailored to the specific needs of those recovering from a stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury. Summary:
The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting financial operations including accounts payable, account reconciliations, journal entries, and revenue cycle optimization. This role ensures timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis while contributing to cross-functional collaboration.
Essential Functions Additional Information
Requires ability to manage deadlines and work across departments with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
Experience:
Minimum two years of healthcare accounting experience, Preferred.
Skills:
Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet browsers.
Demonstrated excellence in previous accounting roles.
