Once you receive a conditional offer, we’ll begin the background check process. This typically includes verification of employment history, education, any licenses or certifications required for the role, as well as a criminal background check where permitted by law. All positions require drug screening and may involve an additional credential review.
After you’ve accepted your offer, our team will guide you through each step from completing paperwork to preparing for your first day. You’ll participate in orientation, meet your new team and receive training to help you succeed in your role. Our goal is to make sure you feel welcome, supported and ready to make a difference.

In general, you will have an initial phone screening, a follow-up call/virtual meeting with the local team and practice manager, and an in-person site visit to meet medical staff and explore the community. Should you and the team agree to move forward, contract terms will be discussed during your visit or shortly after your return home.
Our recruitment team will work with you to learn your practice preferences, community and lifestyle needs and any other important features of your search. We encourage candidates and their spouse/significant other to visit onsite to meet the team.
We offer a range of physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) roles, including clinic and hospital-based patient care, quality and medical leadership roles and residency training programs.
Yes, Lifepoint Health partners with PRN providers to fill positions on a temporary basis. As independent contractors, they are responsible for arranging their own benefits such as health insurance and retirement accounts.
We have 24 residency programs with locations in Alabama, Arizona, Kentucky, Michigan, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia and Washington. Residents are encouraged to apply to any open positions, even while in the process of completion.
