Frequently asked questions

How can I make my resume stand out?

Tailoring your resume to the position you’re applying for helps our recruiters see how your skills and values align with Lifepoint Health’s mission. Clearly highlight your experience, education and achievements that best mirror the role you’re applying for and your commitment to helping others.

Can I apply for more than one job at the same time, or for the same position more than once?

Yes – we encourage you to apply for any role that aligns with your interests and experience. However, please submit only one application per job posting. If a position you’ve previously applied for opens again, or if your experience has expanded since your last application, you’re welcome to reapply at that time.

How do I check the status of my application?

You can track your progress by logging into your candidate profile in our online career portal. There, you’ll see updates on each position you’ve applied for and any next steps.

Are accommodations and adjustments available for candidates with disabilities or other physical or mental health conditions?

Yes. Lifepoint Health is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive hiring experience for everyone. If you need accommodations at any point during the application or interview process, please let us know.

What is included in the background check?

Once you receive a conditional offer, we’ll begin the background check process. This typically includes verification of employment history, education, any licenses or certifications required for the role, as well as a criminal background check where permitted by law. All positions require drug screening and may involve an additional credential review.

What is the onboarding process like?

After you’ve accepted your offer, our team will guide you through each step from completing paperwork to preparing for your first day. You’ll participate in orientation, meet your new team and receive training to help you succeed in your role. Our goal is to make sure you feel welcome, supported and ready to make a difference.

What should I do if I need to reschedule an interview?

If you need to reschedule, let your recruiter or the person who arranged your interview know as soon as you can. We’ll do our best to find a new time that works for everyone.
