How you'll contribute

This position assists with the planning, coordination and administration of general accounting activities of the organization.

Essential Functions: 

• To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Responsible for all accounts payable functions including setting up vendors, tracking payments and making requests for payments, etc.

• Prepares journal entries and accruals in conjunction with monthly closing processes and general ledger accounts.
• Develop analytical/departmental reports as required or requested. 
• Serves as an interdepartmental liaison. Works with both internal and external customers.
• Ensures departmental and organizational compliance with current accounting standards, hospital policies and applicable laws and regulations

Qualifications and requirements

Education: Associates degree or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training in accounting or business preferred.
