The Fauquier Health Sleep Center offers outpatient sleep study services to diagnose and treat patients who are suffering from sleep disorders. State-of-the-art computerized equipment monitors up to 20 biological and neurological sleep factors while patients sleep in a home-like environment.

How you'll contribute   

An Administrative Assistant who excels in this role: 

• Performs all clerical and receptionist duties to coordinate the activities of the department, including patient registration and scheduling of tests and procedures. 
• Provides a positive interface with internal and external customers. Coordinates activities as necessary with patients, providers, and other departments. 
• Answers telephone promptly and courteously, take accurate and complete messages, forwards or answers inquiries as appropriate. 
• Compiles download of data for reporting purposes as assigned. Creates and maintains documents as needed. Exhibits familiarity with computer programs used to support department functions.

What we're looking for - position specific 
Applicants should have a High School diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Previous experience with insurance is highly preferred.
