How you'll contribute
An Athletic Trainer who excels in this role:
The Certified Athletic trainer is responsible for providing sports medicine services for the prevention, Diagnosis, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries. This position is an outreach position providing coverage to a secondary school. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Providing onsite care for the diagnosis, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.
Set up referrals of student athletes to appropriate physicians for further evaluation and imaging.
Implement injury prevention strategies through education, postural and ergonomic coaching, and promoting overall wellness.
Ensure effective communication with Physicians and coaches regarding the injury status and/or limitations of student athletes.
Documents patient encounters in the electronic medical record (EMR)
Performs administrative and other duties as assigned by supervisor

What we're looking for
- Education: Bachelor's Degree Required
- Must be BOC certified and be eligible to possess state athletic training licensure, certification or registration (Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) certification). NPI Number Required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
