Schedule: Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)

How you'll contribute

An Athletic Trainer who excels in this role recognizes, manages, and rehabilitates injuries to professional, amateur and recreational athletes. Provides techniques for prevention of injuries and instructs/trains on safe exercise techniques.

• Implements treatment and rehabilitation programs under the supervision of a physician.
• Prepares athletes/patients for practice or competition.
• Evaluates and manages injuries and determines whether a referral is necessary. Maintains a medical file on each athletes/patients and acts as a liaison between the physician and the athletes/patients.
• Develops conditioning programs for injured and non-injured athletes/patients.
• Other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in an applied discipline and an active Athletic Training certification/ BOC certified and state certification or registration (these qualifications are required). Additional requirements include:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Health Association required within 30 dates of hire.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
