How you'll contribute

An Athletic Trainer who excels in this role:

• The athletic trainer is the liaison between the patient and/or parents, the medical doctors or their support staffs, the medical assistant, athletes, coaches and contracted outreach community.

• Prevention of Athletic Injuries: Design and Implement Prevention programs.

• Job Knowledge: Understanding of job duties, know how in performing assigned tasks.

• Ambition/Initiative: Willingness to put forth effort in starting an activity, contribute to new ideas or seek improvement.

• This position is based directly with Lawrence County High School (LCHS).

• Perform other duties as assigned

What we're looking for

• Graduate of a Program in Discipline, Bachelor's Degree Required

• Master's degree preferred

• critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)

• Licenses: Current and active Athletic Trainer license in the state of Tennessee.
