How you'll contribute
A Senior Cardiovascular Technician who excels in this role:
Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
Enter new data as needed.
Monitors heart rhythms, blood pressure, and oxygen levels.
Reports any changes to the appropriate person. Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and equipment.
Assists cardiologist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.
Administers medications to patients under the supervision of attending physicians.
Plans, implements, documents, and evaluates all aspects of radiation safety and monitoring of radiographic procedural modification.
Performs advanced imaging technique under the guidance of Cardiologist
What we're looking for
Licensure or Certification in degree field
Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)
3 years in interventional cardiology/ radiology at a CVT I or equivalent level
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Certifications: (One of the Following):
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists (RCIS)
International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners Certification (IBHRE)
Cardiac Interventional Radiology Examination Certification
Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
