Key Responsibilities

  • Assist cardiologists in diagnostic & interventional cardiac and vascular procedures.
  • Work with adult patients in a high-quality, patient-centered care environment.
  • Functions include:
    • Circulating, monitoring, and/or scrubbing during procedures.
    • Pre- and post-procedure patient care and assessment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required.


Cath Lab Tech

DLP Cardiac Partners - Raleigh, NC

Minimum Education

  • Registry or certification in an Allied Health field, such as Cardiovascular Technology, Respiratory Therapy, or a certificate of completion from an approved CVT program, is required.
  • Instead of a degree, equivalent on-the-job training and experience of at least 2 years may be accepted.

Required Licensure/Certification

  • Appropriate certification in one of the aforementioned Allied Health fields.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • State ACLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.

Minimum Work Experience

  • Preferred: 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Cardiac catheterization
    • Cardiac nursing
    • Special procedures
    • Respiratory therapy with cardiac or intensive care patients
