The Villa at Suffield Meadows, part of the Fauquier Health system, is a 70+ bed assisted living community offering residential and assisted living services, a 12-bed secured memory care unit, and short-term respite care solutions. With a focus on dignity and personalized support, a dedicated team of compassionate staff provides high-quality care in a warm, home-like environment, promoting independence while enhancing each resident's quality of life.

How you'll contribute

A Care Aid who excels in this role:

• Assists with resident care throughout nursing areas under the direction of licensed personnel, including activities of daily living (ADLs) such as feeding, elimination needs, grooming, bathing, and dressing 

• Answers resident alarm pendants and responds to resident needs promptly and appropriately, ensuring resident safety and comfort 

• Provides mobility assistance, including transfers, repositioning, and ambulation support in accordance with care plans 

• Monitors and documents resident status, reporting changes in condition, behaviors, or concerns to licensed nursing staff 

• Maintains a clean, safe, and supportive environment while promoting resident dignity, independence, and quality of life

What we're looking for

Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent) & a Certificate of Completion as a Personal Care Aid OR Completion of the Nurse Aide Educational Program. Additional requirements include:

• Current BLS certification required within 60 days of hire

• PCA/DCA Experience preferred
