How you'll contribute: A Cat Scan Technologist who excels in this role:
- Reviews patient history and physician's orders.
- Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
- Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
- Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
- Troubleshoots, resolves, and/or reports equipment malfunctions
- Positions patients and performs imaging procedures.
- Implements safety standards and performs appropriate quality control procedures on equipment.
- Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.
- Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.
- Enters, transmits and reports scan results.
- Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
- Provides quality patient care and works flexible shifts/units as needed.
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What we're looking for Applicants should have Two-year certificate, Associate's degree, or Baccalaureate degree.
