How you'll contribute
The Cath Lab Manager functions as a working manager, spending approximately 85% of their time performing day‑to‑day clinical duties, supporting procedural schedules, and serving as the primary liaison between AVP Service Line Operations, facility leadership, and operational partners. The remaining 15% of the role focuses on staff development, performance oversight, and administrative responsibilities, including maintaining patient case logs, monitoring key metrics, and completing quality reporting for both Duke and facility leadership. This position supports the strategic vision of the organization by establishing departmental goals, managing staff relations, coordinating patient care, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and compliance standards. The manager oversees scheduling, recruitment, training, and performance management while also monitoring budgets, contracts, vendor relations, and equipment needs to maintain efficient operations. The role requires the ability to work with sensitive information, foster professional growth, integrate evidence‑based practices, and maintain consistent, reliable attendance. Additional duties may be assigned.

What we're looking for
Applicants should have
High school graduate or equivalent required
Associate degree or higher preferred
Basic Life Support certification required
ACLS certification within 30 days of employment required
Three (3) years of experience in one (1) or more of the following:
Cardiac catheterization
Cardiac nursing
Special procedures
Respiratory Therapy with Cardiac or Intensive care patients
