How you'll contribute

A Cath Lab Technician who excels in this role:

  • Provide direct and indirect patient care in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
  • Perform all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.
  • Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily for effectiveness.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient, and family following chain of command as appropriate.
  • Collaborate as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
  • Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Work as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights.

What we're looking for
Applicants should be a graduate of a program in discipline. Additional requirements include:

  • Registered by ARRT as Radiologic Technologist.

  • CI or RCIS preferred.

  • BLS.

  • ACLS obtained within 6 months of hire.

  • One (1) year experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
