Our Surgery Center offers a family‑oriented, supportive environment with a six‑month orientation to set you up for success. Team members can work in the General OR or specialize in areas like Neuro, with cross‑training. How you'll contribute
A Central Sterile Technician, Noncertified who excels in this role:
Provides inspection, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments and other patient care equipment in accordance with processing guidelines, AAMI, AORN, TJC, and OSHA requirements.
Operates departmental equipment daily according to manufacturer instructions with emphasis on safety.
Provides customer service to all departments with a focus on the patient need.
Processes and documents all sterile supplies and equipment daily using chemical, biological and mechanical indicators to verify sterility in accordance with manufacturer instructions and hospital policy.
Monitors and performs antimicrobial and disinfection solutions testing according to manufacturer instructions and documentation daily.
What we're looking for
Applicants should have:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire.
